Our annual winter warmup was held January 27, 2017, and more than 30 volunteers, staff, participants and their families participated!
Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, staff and participants, were were able to provide a warm ethnic meal for all, which included curry chicken, vegetarian maqluba and friend rice.
Most importantly, with the generous support of Gifts for the Homeless we were able to distribute more than twenty bags of gloves, hats, hoodies, jackets, jeans, scarves, socks, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and thermal underware to people who would otherwise have gone without during this cold winter season.
A special treat this year was being able to distribute fleece blankets donated and made by students at St. Andrews Episcopal School.
Thank you for your donations, and for making this day of warm food, warm cloths, and warm hearts such a success!
