The Next Step Program:
HIV/AIDS Services
For many people, new treatments and aggressive therapies have substantially slowed the progression of HIV to AIDS. That does not mean that living with HIV/AIDS is not a challenge, but it does not have to be overwhelming. As part of our Next Step Program, Samaritan Ministry offers the following HIV/AIDS services: a spiritual retreat series, monthly get-togethers, bereavement support, support groups and burial assistance funds.
Did You Know?
Every month, Samaritan Ministry helps over 300
homeless or others to improve their lives. On average, three of
every four Next Steps are started and finished. Each
month 10 to 15 people find jobs with the help of Samaritan
Ministry. Many successful former participants refer others to
Samaritan Ministry and some return to do volunteer work
themselves.
